Leading the Restorative Retreat in January was a privilege—an opportunity to reset the mind and body as we stepped into the new year. Held at the beautiful Claverton Hotel, East Sussex, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was simply wonderful—nourishing both body and soul.
A Day of Reflection and Reconnection
The retreat was a carefully crafted blend of mindset workshops and gentle body practices, designed to reconnect energy and spirit. A huge thank you to Tania Murray for leading the movement session (see her details below).
A key focus of the day was exploring how we get caught in patterns of thinking that shape our emotions and behaviours—often without realising it. Through reflective exercises and discussions, we examined how these patterns can create a sense of being ‘stuck’ and, more importantly, how to move forward with clarity and confidence.
Aligning with Our Values
One of the most powerful moments of the retreat was shifting our focus from rigid goals to aligning with our core values. I firmly believe in setting intentions that resonate deeply, rather than chasing external targets that may not truly serve us. This exercise proved to be transformative for the group, offering a fresh perspective on personal growth and direction.
