Workshop for confidence and Imposter Syndrome

I am currently developing my workshop for confidence to cover self esteem issues and how this impacts on our view of ourselves.   The workshop will  focus on the problematic internal dialogue – what we think we are good at and how others might judge us –  that can lead to Imposter syndrome.

We will work as a small group over a course of 6 sessions to initially uncover the past experiences that might inform your belief of yourself.  We then look at the patterns of thinking and behaviours that maintain the low self image and fear of judgement.

We use our own experiences over the weeks to share with the group to help update the faulty thinking styles and test out new ways of dealing with change and uncertainty.

Working as a group provides benefits that cannot be gained so easily for confidence when working one to one with a therapist.  There is a sense of learning and sharing together that enables a deeper understanding of the problems you have faced with self criticism. The aim is to build a more current perspective of yourself with the ability to show self gratitude, compassion and take on challenges to face the fear and do it anyway.
